NEA-NH Fall Instructional Conference
I am excited to return to the NEA-NH Fall Instructional Conference to present three practical, strategy-focused sessions for educators and education support professionals. Each workshop will provide participants with realistic tools they can use to better understand student behavior, respond effectively during challenging moments, and support students’ emotional and behavioral needs.
Diffusing the Difficult Child: Ways to Help Student Behaviors When They Are Happening
Session A-06 | PK–5 and ESP
Learn practical, in-the-moment strategies for responding to challenging behaviors while reducing escalation, maintaining connection, and helping students regain control.
From Worry to Calm: Helping Young Students Manage Anxiety
Session B-09 | PK–2 and ESP
Explore how anxiety may appear in young children and discover supportive strategies that promote emotional safety, regulation, confidence, and classroom participation.
Working Through the Behaviors of ADHD
Session C-14 | PK–8 and ESP
Develop a deeper understanding of the behaviors associated with ADHD and walk away with practical strategies for supporting attention, impulsivity, movement, organization, and emotional regulation.
I look forward to connecting with educators from across New Hampshire and sharing strategies they can bring back to their classrooms and begin using right away.
